The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, located in Atlantic City, has partnered with BetMGM to introduce a novel dual-play roulette offering utilizing Evolution technology. This launch represents the initial instance of MGM Resorts deploying Evolution’s dual-play product within the North American market.

This groundbreaking concept enables individuals physically present at the Borgata’s roulette table to participate alongside online BetMGM users in a unified game, fostering a fluid and captivating experience for all involved. Oliver Bartlett, overseeing Online Gaming at BetMGM, conveyed his excitement, noting that this joint effort will enhance the gaming journey for both digital and brick-and-mortar patrons.

The dual-play roulette setup incorporates multiple cameras strategically positioned to deliver an immersive experience for online players, replicating the ambiance of being physically present on the Borgata casino floor. James Bruno, Borgata’s Vice President of Casino Operations, underscored the importance of this alliance, emphasizing the combined strengths of these two industry frontrunners.

This exciting development follows closely on the heels of BetMGM, a collaborative venture between MGM Resorts and Entain, unveiling impressive financial performance metrics. Their report for the first half of 2023 showcased net revenue reaching $944 million, marking a substantial 55% surge in comparison to the $608 million generated during the corresponding period in 2022.

BetMGM reports a grand slam in Q2 2023, surpassing their earnings projections even before the specific figures are released. Given this robust initial six months, they are now forecasting to bring in a substantial $1.8 to $2 billion by the year’s conclusion.
